Hello!

My name is Isabelle Christensen, and I’m in my third year of the Bachelor of Journalism program here at TRU. My professional career goals include working in print/digital journalism near my interests in political and academic reporting.

I’ve taken quite a few media courses throughout my academic career so far, but this is my first time taking a Public Relations course. My interest in PR stems from my interest in journalism. I’m taking this course to aid my understanding of how others, not just journalists interact with and percieve media, including how PR teams navigate investigative journalists. I believe having the skills of both sides will improve my writing and investigative abilities.
